Due Date - Maybe TMI for Some

Well, today is officially my due date and at this moment this baby is showing no signs of knowing that today is the day.

It is fine. I have made my peace with this child being a late baby.

I think if Kaylee would have been late, I would not have had this expectation that this baby would be early.  It doesn't help any that I have been measuring several weeks large with this baby since about 30 weeks.  The 2 previous appointments I have been 2-3cm dilated and 90% effaced, meaning my body is making progress toward labor. At my appointment yesterday I was deemed a "tight 3" and still 90%.  At every appointment the doctor is surprised and says, "I really don't think you will make it to your next appointment."

We will see, I suppose.

Joyful Moment of the Day: The sun is out and it is sooooo nice outside!!!

  1. Hope you will soon have your little bundle of joy in your arms. I still remember how those last few days of waiting can be a tad wearisome.

    Blessings~

  2. That Baby knows I am coming. She is waiting to make her grand entrance so I can be there playing a wicked metal riff on my guitar as she walks into the room.

  3. Waiting is so hard. =o( Especially when you think they'll come early. My original due date of August 8th got moved to August 27th, which he ended up passing up by a week. I was actually thinking he would come a month before he was actually born. =oP Emotionally it takes a toll. Keep happy and know that she'll be here soon!

  4. I was just telling that to Ryan how the first kid going early makes you more impatient during the last couple of weeks with the second. You're doing great! Can't wait to meet her.
